We’re MacIntyre, a national charity supporting people with learning disabilities and autism, and we’re looking for a Recruitment Officer to join our friendly, hard-working team.

The role is based at our Milton Keynes head office, but you’ll be supporting our Northern region, working closely with managers to help them recruit the right people for their services. You don’t need recruitment experience but what matters most is your attitude, values, and willingness to learn.

What you’ll be doing

  • Building positive working relationships with managers in our Northern region through regular phone and Teams contact, with occasional visits

  • Writing job adverts and managing vacancies

  • Responding to applications and carrying out short telephone screening interviews

  • Booking and coordinating face-to-face interviews

  • Completing pre-employment checks, including right to work checks, references and DBS checks

  • Supporting a values-based recruitment process that puts people first while keeping everything compliant

This role would suit someone who:

  • Is organised and able to juggle different tasks

  • Has basic IT skills, including Microsoft 365
