We’re looking for Recovery Practitioner for our Kingston Service

The Recovery Practitioner will be responsible for further developing the current Opiate, Alcohol and Non Dependant pathways and holistic support network. They will be responsible for supporting the service users on generic core pathways to manage the delivery of integrated psychosocial and pharmacological interventions for those who use our services with a focus on effective integration. This will include improving partnership working across Kingston borough.

We are seeking committed, organised and highly motivated candidates, with an in-depth knowledge and experience of the challenges affecting people with substance misuse and related health and wellbeing issues in Kingston.

The purpose of this role is to deliver excellent drug and alcohol services to those who use our services and their significant others, including family members friends and carers, to facilitate positive outcomes.

To manage a case load and coordinate and deliver assessment and evidence-based interventions (brief and structured), recovery planning and aftercare planning.

To work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholder across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring adherence with all Via policies and Safeguarding principles.

The Service

Via Kingston is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing clinical and psychosocial interventions, operating from a main treatment hub in Surbiton. The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Kingston residents, irrespective of circumstance.
