Are you passionate about empowering people to change their lives?
Do you believe in the strength of recovery, community, and possibility?
If yes — this could be the perfect role for you!

Double Impact is a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation, established in 1998.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to help people recover from drug and alcohol issues and build meaningful, fulfilled lives.

From February 2026, we are proud to deliver services as part of the brand-new North East
Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership — a vibrant collaboration between:

Double Impact — lived experience and recovery specialists
Framework — experts in multiple disadvantage
Turning Point — outstanding national substance use provider

Together, we’re launching an innovative Recovery First model, putting lived experience and personalised support at the heart of everything we do.

Recovery Coach x 2

As a Recovery Coach, you’ll be a key member of this dynamic new partnership. You’ll work closely with people in treatment, helping them take their next steps into recovery, education, volunteering and independence. Your role will include:

  • Supporting people to achieve their goals and celebrate their successes
  • Completing assessments and developing personalised recovery plans
  • Delivering motivating, strengths-based 1-1 and group sessions (full training given)
  • Championing abstinent-based recovery and possibility thinking
  • Connecting people to community resources, peer support and learning pathways
  • Facilitating recovery-focused groups and mutual aid opportunities

You’ll be based across Grimsby, Cleethorpes, and surrounding areas, with some travel to other local
sites.

What you will bring:
We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, solutions-focused and motivated by seeing others
thrive. Ideally, you will have:

Experience working in drug/alcohol treatment or recovery settings

Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)

Strong IT and record-keeping skill

Understanding of addiction, recovery and abstinent-based models

Lived experience or personal understanding of recovery (advantageous)

A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for helping others

Most importantly — you believe that with the right support, everybody can recover.

Salary and hours:

£25,870 per year with the opportunity to progress to £30,265

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (one evening to 7pm)

Part time options considered.

The successful candidate will uphold the values of Double Impact at all times, championing recovery and possibility thinking – a true motivator to other service users.

If this sounds like the perfect role for you, we’d love to hear from you.
