We are looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive Receptionist to join our dedicated team at the Betty and Asher Loftus Campus on a 12 month fixed term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and thrives in a busy, community-focused environment.

The Betty and Asher Loftus Campus in N11 is a vibrant and dynamic site comprising:

  • 3 Care Homes (over 200 beds in total)
  • Dementia Day Centre
  • Community Outreach Services
  • A multi-purpose Pavilion event space

Job Summary:

As our receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors, callers, and stakeholders, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and professional experience. You will support the reception and administration functions across the site, contributing to the smooth operation of daily activities and events.

This post is working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Answering telephone and face-to-face enquiries professionally and promptly
  • Supporting residents, staff, volunteers, and visitors with a wide range of information
  • Booking appointments, taxis, Care Bus transport, meeting rooms, and desks
  • Managing Pavilion and event space bookings
  • Maintaining accurate records, databases, spreadsheets, and noticeboards
  • Ordering supplies, handling deliveries, updating Dynamics CRM, and assisting with ID badge administration
  • Liaising with service providers including hairdressers and chiropodists
  • Supporting community outreach, tracking attendance, payments and meal orders
  • Logging maintenance and equipment issues, and supporting Health & Safety records

What you will need:

  • GCSEs in English & Maths (or equivalent)
  • Customer Service
  • Working in a busy, people-focused environment
  • Experience in a team-based setting
  • Strong IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Attention to detail and adherence to procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and data protection
  • First Aid trained or willing to be trained
