Racial Justice Project Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a committed and thoughtful Racial Justice Project Manager to join our Parish Support Team. This part‑time, three‑year role is funded by a generous grant from the National Church’s Racial Justice Unit, supporting a project that builds cultural capital among children through meaningful experiences of Global Majority Heritage cultures.
You’ll help shape and steward a programme of school sessions, intercultural events, virtual befriending, and international partnerships ensuring every activity fosters empathy, curiosity, and respect. Your work will guide the Racial Justice Enabler, strengthen relationships with schools and churches, and champion racial justice across our diocese.
Based at Church House, Derby, with hybrid working welcomed, this is a chance to make a thoughtful and lasting impact on children, communities, and our shared diocesan journey toward becoming a more diverse and hope‑filled Church.
Working pattern: Part-time, 17.5hrs per week (0.5 full-time equivalent), specific working days to be confirmed, fixed term for three years
Salary: £19,800 (£39,600 full-time equivalent)
