We’re looking for a compassionate and dynamic Racial Justice Enabler to help bring this transformative, grant‑funded project to life. Supported by a generous grant from the National Church’s Racial Justice Unit, the role focuses on building cultural capital among children and young people through meaningful encounters with Global Majority Heritage cultures.

At the heart of this role is the chance to shape children’s lives at a formative stage—creating moments of curiosity, empathy, and confidence that may stay with them for years. You’ll deliver engaging sessions in schools, accompany groups on intercultural trips and events, and help run virtual befriending schemes that give children real, positive experiences of diversity. Your presence helps them see the world differently, broaden their horizons, and develop the attitudes that make communities more welcoming and hopeful.

Based at Church House, Derby, with travel mainly in East Derbyshire, we welcome hybrid working. If you’re energised by justice, enjoy working with children and young people, and want to help shape a more diverse and connected future, we’d love to hear from you.

Working pattern: Full-time, 35 hours per week (three year fixed term)

Salary: £35,500

Closing date: Wednesday 18 March at 12 noon

Interview date: Thursday 26 March
