9am to 5pm Mon to Fri
We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to sit within the fire operations compliance team. For this role you will be expected to manage an internal quality review programme that ensures the business meets with all FRA Compliance data, service quality standards, legislative and policy requirements.
The position sits within the Property Services division who are responsible for delivering a high quality and cost effective property repairs, compliance and installation and estate services across the UK to mainly internal clients and additionally a small number of external clients. It is also responsible for operational Health and Safety of the service, including fire safety and delivering effective group wide asset management and reinvestment programmes.
The role of Quality Assurance Manager- FRA Audits will include:
- Undertake quality reviews of Fire Risk Assessments completed in the Group program and assess business performance against regulatory and service delivery requirements ensuring these are undertaken consistently to provide an accurate assessment of the services provided
- Plan, manage and implement audit review programmes, to assess Compliance performance against regulatory and service delivery requirements for the fire operations FRA assessor delivery team
- Ensure reviews are undertaken consistently, using appropriate techniques to ensure audit and assessment tools are aligned to legislative, regulatory and business changes to monitor service delivery, performance and compliance levels
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of policies to safeguard the organisation's interests and meet regulatory compliance including reviewing and making recommendations for systems and process improvements as appropriate in line with the most up to date legislation requirements
- Provide high quality management information to the Senior Management Team to support on going operational planning, identifying issues and recommending improvements to services
Skills and experiences:
- Fire Risk Assessment Qualification Level 4
- Comprehensive knowledge of current FRA regulation and good practice principles
- Proven experience of inspection regimes, performance management and consultation practice
- Proven ability to develop, implement and review relevant policies and procedures
- Good understanding of written and spoken English
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
