RWR Recruitment are currently looking to expand our pool of qualified teachers across all subjects to support primary schools and secondary/high schools in Newport and surrounding areas.

We are urgently seeking motivated, confident, and reliable teachers who are available for immediate starts, with opportunities available on both short-term and long-term assignments.

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality lessons within primary and secondary/high school settings

• Teach any subject or subject-specific roles, depending on your specialism and experience

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the curriculum

• Effectively manage classroom behaviour and support pupils of varying abilities

• Promote pupil confidence, engagement, and academic progress

• Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Qualified to teach any subject within primary or secondary/high school environments

• Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service

• Confident and professional classroom presence

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• Reliable, enthusiastic, and available to start immediately or at short notice
