QA Test Analyst

Are you experienced in systems testing, with the ability to clearly explain Salesforce and administration processes to a broad range of stakeholders?

We’re looking for skilled, collaborative QA Test Analysts to protect releases by testing end-to-end supporter, income and permissions flows across Salesforce and key integrations, maintaining a reliable regression pack and raising precise, root-caused defects. In this role you'll ensure the Salesforce platform is stable, secure and compliant, and that changes land predictably through well-planned testing.

You'll also design and execute manual and automated tests, identify issues and their root cause, and work with engineers and admins to prevent recurrence, as well as safeguarding the data we release—through good test-data management and negative/permissions testing—and continuously improve how we test so quality, coverage and speed of delivery go up while risk goes down.

What does this role do?

As a QA Test Analyst you'll,

  • Take user stories and acceptance criteria and turn them into test cases that map to real Salesforce processes and objects
  • Work out what we test, where (which sandbox), with what data, and what the exit criteria are
  • Identify risks early — especially where data, consent, dedupe or integrations are involved
  • Write and run manual tests for the core Salesforce journeys (supporters, donations/income, cases/requests, campaigns, bookings)
  • Keep the automated regression pack up to date (we use Provar) so it reflects what we use in production

Could this be you?

To be successful in this role you'll have hands-on experience of testing a Salesforce-first environment (lots of Flows, record types, validation rules, permission sets), as well as experience of reading a Flow or a validation rule and designing a test around it.

You'll have an understanding of Salesforce permissions and ability to write negative tests (what should not be visible/doable) and you'll be a brilliant communicator who can explain and discuss Salesforce and administration process to a range of stakeholders.
