Set days and times: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (4pm-7pm)Location: The Florence Institute Trust, 377 Mill Street Liverpool L8 4RFSummary of job role:To deliver open access youth sessions for young people 11+yrs in our newly built cinema,radio station and social/recreation space. Qualifications: Nationally recognized Youth and Community Qualification or equivalent and a willingnessto undertake further training.Experience: Proven experience (at least 2 years) working directly with young people (11+ yrs) Responsibilities:1.Hands on delivery approach, delivering activities in the youth club throughcinema/film making/pod casts and radio sessions and other organised activities youngpeople can enjoy in their social recreation time.2.Act as the safeguarding lead for young people3.Promote and develop the Florries youth offer by sharing good practice with otherlocal providers.4.Keep details records to inform monitoring and evaluating the impact and effectivenessof the programme.5.To provide verbal and written reports and updates to the CEO to ensure compliancewith funding requirements and expectations of the Florrie.6.To ensure that all aspects of the youth programme is delivered in a way that promotesequal opportunities for young people.7.To represent the charity and carry out other reasonable requests and duties asrequired with the post.JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB INFORMATION PACKPERSON SPECIFICATIONEXPERIENCEExperience of working within the personal development, education, health, sport,youth or community sectors.Experience of planning and delivering youth programmes.Understand and work within the guided youth work principles Hold a Nationally recognised Youth Qualification or equivalent SKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to identify small groups of excluded young people by working with appropriatereferral agencies.
