About the Role

MAP is seeking a dedicated professional to assess psychosocial needs, deliver Psychological First Aid (PFA), and develop support plans in coordination with medical & MHPSS teams. The role involves facilitating safe referrals, supporting people with disabilities, contributing to protection needs assessments, and ensuring the integration of MHPSS across activities, while maintaining timely reporting and identifying and referring complex mental health cases for specialised support.

About You

The ideal candidate should hold a degree in social work, psychology, counselling, or a related field, with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. The candidate should have proven experience in delivering PFA and basic MHPSS interventions, counselling, psychoeducation, and working with referral pathways, with added experience in child protection, case management, and supporting vulnerable groups considered an asset. Strong organisational, reporting, and documentation skills, and fluency in English and Arabic are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
