The Vacancy
As Aster’s Property Compliance Manager you’ll be managing the validation of compliance data, to ensure that the wider group has validated management information, supporting the delivery of set objectives.
You will play a key role in implementing the property compliance strategy, ensuring that we’re in line with statutory, regulatory and policy requirements.
You’ll be identifying areas of good and bad compliance and will be providing effective reporting to the head of service.
You will take the lead on the effective and compliant procurement of suitably qualified and high performing external suppliers of third party compliance checks. This will include effective contract performance management.
You’ll be seen as a subject matter expert within the business and will provide advice and guidance on all property compliance related matters. You will also assist in the development and implementation of innovative policies and management plans to both improve compliance and mitigate risk.
About you
You will be professionally qualified in a construction or building related discipline and/or will be able to demonstrate relevant career experience, preferably in social housing.
Your leadership style will demonstrate your coaching skills and you’ll spend time sharing your skills and knowledge with the team to ensure personal growth.
You will be able to carry out gap analysis, writing clear and concise reports. You will have experience in using large datasets, spotting trends and drawing informed conclusions.
You’ll consider yourself to be a people person, able to build great working relationships. You’ll communicate clearly, with excellent written skills and the ability to adapt your messaging for your audience.
This is a hybrid role, you’ll be able to base yourself from home. Travel will be required from time to time so having a full UK driving licence and having access to a vehicle is a must.
Our operating region includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London.
