The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for a Project Manager, to provide maternity cover on a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract.

As Project Manager you will manage delivery of key elements of our Medium and Long-Term Strategy Portfolio. We are looking for someone who likes working on a variety of projects and these will cover the five key Trust programmes - Shaping our Future, System Improvement, Buildings and Estates, Public Programmes and Reimagining Henley Street.

Working under the Chief Operating Officer and closely with the Senior Leadership team, you will provide coordination and direction across multiple changes while ensuring adherence to governance.

This role is a hands-on, delivery focused position and requires you to have a broad set of skills. You should be able to operate across a variety of levels of detail, complexity, and stakeholder groups.

To be successful you will actively support all stages of change from initial requests and requirements gathering through to delivery and service transition in a timely manner and within budget. The magnitude of changes varies and will include small change, internal projects and larger capital projects working alongside third party providers.

You will be able to identify creative, cost-effective solutions and you will have significant interpersonal and consultative skills being able to communicate, negotiate and influence both internally and externally.
