Job title: Project Coordinator

Delegated Authority: Level 8

Team: Achieving Potential

Responsible to: Assistant Director

Responsible for: Volunteers/Freelancers

Job purpose

This is a chance to help turn potential into possibility for people who have too often been locked out of opportunity.

As SHP develops its Achieving Potential programme, the Project Coordinator will play a central role in building a more connected, visible and accessible offer for the people we support. This programme is about more than activities or courses. It is about creating real pathways into learning, skills, volunteering, training and employment, helping people build confidence, recognise their strengths and take meaningful steps towards the future they want.

The role exists to make sure opportunities across SHP do not sit in isolation but come together as a clear and joined up programme that frontline teams, participants and partners can understand, access and help shape. Working closely with project leads, frontline colleagues, participants and external partners, you will help coordinate the day to day delivery of Achieving Potential while supporting its growth into a consistent and inclusive offer across SHP.

You will keep activity planned, organised and communicated clearly, support participants to move between opportunities, and help develop partnerships with colleges, training providers, employers and community organisations. Through strong coordination, warm relationship building and a clear focus on impact, you will help create a programme that is practical, ambitious and rooted in what people tell us they need.
