Double Impact is a registered charity and not for profit organisation. We have been generating sustained and visible recovery from addiction since 1998.
The Nottingham Recovery Network comprises of Framework Housing Association, Double Impact and Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The service is publicly funded and has been established to support people who use drugs and alcohol. We provide a single point of advice, support and treatment for anyone in Nottingham City who wishes to change their relationship with alcohol or drugs.

Progression Pathway Lead

Are you passionate about empowering individuals to rebuild their lives after substance use? Do you believe in the power of education, coaching, and personal growth? We’re looking for a compassionate and driven Progression Pathway Coach to join our recovery service and help people take meaningful steps toward independence.

We are seeking a Progression Pathway Lead to champion high quality teaching, learning, and assessment across our Level 1 and Level 2 progression qualifications. This is a rewarding role where education, recovery, and personal growth come together.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and enhance teaching, learning, and assessment across our progression pathway.

• Develop engaging, inclusive, trauma informed learning materials.

• Mentor and support tutors and assessors.

• Contribute to quality assurance, learner feedback, and continuous improvement.

• Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and awarding bodies.

• Promote clear progression routes for learners accessing community recovery support.

About You

About You

You share our commitment to Supportive, Passionate, Inclusive, Responsive, and Effective practice.

You’ll bring:

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, DTLLS/DET).

• Assessor qualifications (TAQA, A1).

• Experience teaching foundation level adult learners.

• Experience within recovery, mental health, or health/social care settings.

• Strong communication, mentoring, and organisational skills.

• A positive, non judgmental approach, and a genuine belief in people’s potential.
