About the Role

 MAP is seeking a Project Officer to support the design, implementation, and monitoring of health and rehabilitation projects. The role includes assisting with concept notes and proposals, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and maintaining accurate monitoring and reporting systems. The Project Officer will engage with MAP staff, partners, and MoH personnel to strengthen collaboration, provide operational and logistical support, and contribute to fundraising, advocacy, and communication activities. The position also involves conducting field visits, supporting capacity-building for partners, implementing beneficiary feedback mechanisms, and representing MAP in relevant forums to ensure effective, sustainable project outcomes. 

About You

 The ideal candidate has demonstrable experience supporting the implementation of community development, rehabilitation, disability inclusion, or humanitarian response projects, with a strong background in all stages of project cycle management, including developing and implementing M&E frameworks and log frames. They are experienced in engaging with multiple stakeholders and partners, collecting and analysing data, overseeing beneficiary feedback mechanisms, and contributing to proposal and concept note development. The candidate possesses excellent project management, planning, and analytical skills, with proven ability to manage budgets, understand financial processes, and deliver narrative and financial reports.

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works in partnership with Palestinian communities to uphold their rights to health and dignity. We do this by developing effective, sustainable and locally-led healthcare services, providing medical aid during emergencies, and campaigning to break down the barriers to Palestinian health and healthcare today and for the future.
