About RNID
RNID is the national charity supporting the 18 million people in the UK who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus. Our mission is to end discrimination, improve hearing health today, and fund research to restore hearing and silence tinnitus.
We work with communities and partners across industry, government, education and the voluntary sector to drive lasting change. As a remote organisation, our colleagues are based across the UK and come together twice a year for staff summits. We offer flexible working from day one and are guided by our values: connected, insightful, curious and passionate.
Join our team
At RNID we have big, ambitious plans to make real impact for our communities. To do that, we need the right people in our team.We are a remote working organisation, with colleagues based across the UK in locations from Cornwall to the Scottish Highlands and everywhere in between. We come together, in person, twice a year for our Staff Summits, inspirational events for sharing skills and ideas, hearing from external speakers and spending quality time with colleagues. Working in this way, we bring together the best of digital and in-person working in a modern, progressive organisation.
As Programme Lead, you will drive RNID’s Inclusion & Employment programmes, delivering strategic projects that improve access, inclusion and employment outcomes for deaf people and people with hearing loss.
You will:
- Lead multiple complex, interrelated projects across Inclusion and Employment.
- Design, deliver and evaluate innovative pilots and scalable initiatives.
- Influence employers and partners to adopt inclusive policies and accessible practices.
- Strengthen RNID’s evidence base through insight, monitoring and high-quality reporting.
- Build strong relationships across RNID’s matrix structure and with external stakeholders.
- Identify synergies and opportunities to maximise impact and strategic alignment.
These programmes support RNID’s ambition to remove barriers in workplaces, services and communities, while influencing policy, employer practice and national conversations about accessibility.
This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, strategic influence and the opportunity to deliver measurable change.
What you will be doing
You will:
- Manage and deliver multiple inter‑related strategic projects across two programmes, Inclusion and Employment.
- Lead effective project management, including project planning, governance, activity and outcomes monitoring, risk management and budget oversight.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, maximising opportunities within our matrix model.
- Analyse and resolve complex issues involving multiple stakeholders and user needs.
- Contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of pilots and new initiatives, focusing on effective and scalable solutions.
