Programme Delivery Coordinator: Full time, permanent role
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Quedgeley with hybrid working available
Salary: £26,000 per annum

The role:
The BSAVA has an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Programme Delivery Coordinator with excellent communication skills to join our Education team. Working across both the Academic and Continuing Education teams, the post holder will play a key operational role in delivering in-person and virtual educational events that support BSAVA’s mission to drive excellence in veterinary practice.
The role involves end-to-end event coordination, from scheduling and pre-event preparation through to delivery on the day and post event wrap-up. You will host both in-person events at Woodrow House in Gloucester and virtual sessions online, helping to ensure a high quality, professional experience for students, speakers and colleagues.
This is a varied, hands-on role requiring excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. It is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working collaboratively, takes pride in delivering high quality events and is motivated by supporting education that makes a real difference to the veterinary profession.
As some of our events take place outside of normal working hours, you will need to be comfortable working flexibly.
Skills and experience:
To be successful in this role, you’ll be a confident and well-organised coordinator with strong administrative skills and the ability to manage a varied workload. You’ll also be comfortable communicating with a wide range of people, including students, speakers and colleagues, and supporting the smooth delivery of events and educational activity. You will have:
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
- Experience organising and delivering events or educational courses
- Strong administrative experience, with the ability to manage multiple and complex tasks
- Experience using online meeting platforms, such as Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom
- Confident IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence in hosting events and dealing with customers or students
Desirable (but not essential) experience includes working in environments that support education delivery, committees or learner administration. For example:
- Experience working with committees, including minute-taking
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS)
- The ability to work independently and resolve minor problems

About the BSAVA:
The BSAVA is a professional membership association which exists to advance care for companion animals. With a membership of more than 10,000 veterinary surgeons, vet nurses and students, we work in the UK and internationally to promote excellence in small animal practice through education and science, by facilitating training, conducting research, and developing policy. Each year we deliver numerous education courses, host BSAVA events and publish books, manuals, apps, and magazines.
This post sits within the Education department and reports to the Academic Operations Manager.
Our reward package for this role includes a basic salary of c.£26,000 per annum. In addition, we offer generous employer pension contributions starting at 7% and increasing up to 10% with length of service.
