Programme and Marketing Co-ordinator - Chelsea Heritage Quarter
About the role:
Chelsea Heritage Quarter is seeking a “superstar” freelance Programme & Marketing Co-ordinator to help us attract more visitors to the fabulous institutions in the Royal Hospital Road Chelsea. We run an annual programme of events including walking tours, talks, debates, installations, performances and family programming. Backed by the Royal Hospital Chelsea, the National Army Museum, Chelsea Physic Garden and Cadogan, our flagship event is the annual Chelsea History Festival which attracts over 13,000 visitors.
A self-starter and independent worker with excellent teamworking skills, this is a wide ranging role where you will be the ‘go-to person’ for the Quarter supporting the Director in the running of the charity. Working with teams from our partner organisations, you will co-ordinate production of the Chelsea History Festival (1-4 October 2026) and develop and manage our annual programme of themed events, talks, walking tours and short courses. You will also use your expert marketing skills to deliver the Quarter’s marcomms plan including managing our website, e-news and social channels.
You’ll be joining a start up success story – last year Chelsea Heritage Quarter’s visitor figures rose by 35%. If you have the experience, creativity and skills to contribute further to our success we’d love to hear from you.
