Bright Entertainment are looking for a Glasgow-based production secretary to join one of their returning productions:
Dates: Monday 20 April 2026 - Friday 20 June 2026.
Applicants must also be fully available for all dates between 4-13 June inclusive during studio filming.
Workplace/location: Glasgow office / home working / studio (expectation is a minimum of 3 days Tue/Wed/Thurs per week in the Glasgow office and full time during studio)
The role: booking travel and supporting the team with contestant travel itineraries for a returning series.
Skills you'll need (minimum role criteria): these should be demonstrated within your CV.
- At least one credit working as production secretary in a non-scripted TV environment
- Experience and confidence to book travel for large groups of crew and on screen talent
- Experience of raising purchase orders, dealing with expenses, reconciling credit cards and keeping production manager and finance colleagues informed as appropriate
- Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail
- Experience of working effectively and constructively as part of a team and with a wide range of people (production colleagues, on screen contributors/talent and members of the public) respecting confidentiality at all times
- Must be based locally to Glasgow and available for the dates listed above
Other things we're looking for:
- Experience working in a studio environment with a good understanding of studio etiquette
- Confidence to manage upwards effectively escalating issues appropriately
- Experience of ITV’s systems are beneficial, however, training will be given
- Numerate with experience of monitoring costs accurately and assisting the production manager in delivering value for money
- Demonstrable passion for production management as a career path.
