About the Roundhouse:
The Roundhouse is a youth charity and independent multi-arts venue based in Camden, London. We've spent the past 20 years shaping the UK’s cultural landscape as a home for world-class music, boundary-breaking theatre, circus, poetry and immersive installations. We're the UK’s leading creative centre for young people, engaging more than 10,000 young people annually through our creative youth programme.

The Role
Each year, the Roundhouse presents a world-class cross-artform Artistic Programme which pushes boundaries and brings new and extraordinary experiences to audiences. The Artistic Programme team deliver a range
of projects including Roundhouse Three Sixty Festival in April, Roundhouse Poetry Slam, Resident Artists programme, Daniel Kaluuya’s Centre 59, a season of work by Roundhouse young creatives in Davey Studio, as well as longer runs of large-scale productions usually in the summer.

The Producer (Maternity Cover) role is central to the Artistic Programme Team, ensuring the efficient and collaborative delivery of our programme. The Producer (Maternity Cover) has line management responsibilities for the team’s Assistant Producer and Project Manager-Young Creatives.

Weekend and evening work will be required according to business needs.

About you:
This is an ideal role for a person with a proven track record producing live performance and events, along with a passion for the Roundhouse’s artistic and youth programmes.

The role will suit someone who enjoys working in a team, who is highly organised with a systematic approach and has strong financial and people management skills. In addition, someone who is an inclusive and confident communicator, with extensive experience handling complex situations with care, kindness and diplomacy.

Contract: Fixed Term - 10 months, with the potential to extend up to 13 months
Hours: 35 hours per week (excluding breaks)
Salary: £44,805 per annum
