WARWICKSHIRE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Warwickshire Symphony Orchestra is seeking an experienced horn player to become our new section leader from September 2026. The successful candidate will ideally live within an easy commute to Warwick and will have some experience of playing as principal and fixing a section.
We are a friendly and ambitious symphony orchestra which performs classical music, taken mainly from the 19th and 20th centuries, to a high standard with players of all ages and backgrounds from Warwickshire and its surrounding areas. Our principal conductor is Roger Coull.
We hold five rehearsals prior to each concert on Wednesday evenings plus one Friday evening rehearsal during school term-time in Warwick and we perform four to five concerts a year. Recent works performed have included Mahler Symphony No. 5 and Bruckner Symphony No. 7.
