Priest in Charge, Consett - Diocese of Durham
The Bishop of Durham invites applications for the position of Priest-in-Charge to serve the parish of Consett.
This is a full-time post in the former steel-making town of Consett in northwest County Durham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is seeking a new challenge. Not only will the person appointed be Priest-in-Charge of Consett, but they will also become Team Rector of the newly formed Derwent Valley Team Ministry as this emerges this year.
If you are a priest of deep faith and prayerfulness, who is mission-focused, willing to explore new patterns of worship, and capable of leading the church into the next phase of their spiritual lives with imagination, vision and humour then we would love to hear from you.
