Hours: Full time – 36.25 hours per week

About Pride in Place
Pride in Place is an ambitious programme focused on strengthening communities

and improving neighbourhoods. In Morecambe’s West End, the programme aims to

work with residents, organisations and stakeholders to shape a positive future for

the area. We are particularly interested in candidates who live, have lived, or work in

the West End of Morecambe and understand the place and its community.

Role Overview
Support the smooth running of the Pride in Place programme by managing systems,

administration, facilities and operational processes that allow the project to deliver

its work effectively in the community.

Key Responsibilities
●  Support the day-to-day operations of the Pride in Place project
●  Manage facilities and ensure safe working environments
●  Maintain project systems, policies and operational processes

●  Support governance administration and record keeping
●  Assist with management of IT systems and digital infrastructure
●  Help administer grant programmes and track applications
●  Support community meetings, events and engagement activities
●  Maintain relationships with suppliers and external partners
●  Ensure compliance with data protection, safeguarding and health and safety

Person Specification

Essential
●  Strong organisational and administrative skills
●  Experience coordinating projects, services or operations
●  Ability to manage systems, processes and records effectively
●  Confidence using IT systems and digital tools
●  Ability to work independently and solve problems
●  Strong communication and relationship-building skills
●  Understanding of inclusive and accessible services
●  Commitment to supporting community-focused work

Desirable (not essential)
●  Experience working in community organisations, charities or public services
●  Experience supporting governance or board processes
●  Experience managing facilities or operational infrastructure
●  Experience working with grant programmes or funding processes
