We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time PR & Fundraising Assistant, with a primary focus on planning, organising and delivering high-quality fundraising and supporter events that help improve the lives of people with learning disabilities.
This is a fantastic role for someone who is organised, creative, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact. You’ll join a friendly and busy team, supporting a well-established annual events calendar and helping us raise vital funds to deliver high-quality, person-centred support across the Trust.
Key responsibilities

Support the delivery of our annual fundraising and supporter events calendar

Plan, organise and coordinate events, ensuring they are well-run, engaging and successful

Assist with fundraising projects and initiatives, as directed by the Head of Fundraising

Help grow our fundraising profile and supporter engagement

Provide practical support to help meet fundraising targets

Provide essential administrative support to the PR & Fundraising Team, including event logistics, communications and supporter records
We’re looking for someone who:

Is an excellent communicator and confident building relationships with staff, volunteers and supporters

Is proactive, creative and flexible in their approach

Has strong planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

Has strong administration skills (events or fundraising experience is an advantage, but not essential — full training will be provided)

Is motivated by making a difference and supporting a cause

Has a professional and ethical approach to work

This is a part-time position, 24 hours a week with days and times to be agreed and some out of hours working required.
Salary – £18,720 – 21,216 per annum
