About the role

 

Trinity College London is looking for a PMO lead to provide hands-on governance, coordination, and control across the organisation’s portfolio of business and technology change initiatives.


The PMO Lead will manage the front-door governance process, overseeing the assessment, approval, and initiation process of all change activity. You will be responsible for ensuring that costs, capacity, risk, and business value are understood from the outset.  In this role you will work closely with project managers, sponsors and business leads. As PMO Lead, you will continue the implementation and maturity development of Trinity's PMO processes within an active transformation environment.

Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Governance
  • Project intake and assessment
  • Financial management and Benefits realisation
  • Portfolio Management
  • Demand and capacity management
  • Outcomes and Success Measures

About you

We are looking for someone with excellent stakeholder management experience, as well as adaptability while working in dynamic and ambiguous situations. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are also a must

Skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in a PMO Lead, portfolio management, or delivery governance role
  • Proven ability to implement and manage governance, portfolio management, and benefits realisation frameworks
  • Strong financial management and forecasting capability
  • Hands-on experience managing project intake, prioritisation, and portfolio reporting
  • Familiarity with enterprise risk and assurance frameworks
  • Professional qualifications such as APM PMQ / PPQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP Practitioner, or P3O Practitioner are highly desirable
