Join the Royal Hospital Chelsea —home to the iconic Chelsea Pensioners—where you’ll play an essential part in supporting the health, wellbeing and independence of the retired soldiers who live here. We are seeking a physiotherapist to join our dedicated Therapies Team for a 12‑month maternity cover contract, delivering high-quality physiotherapy services as an autonomous practitioner within a historic and vibrant community.

The Role

  • Manage your own caseload within your specialist area
  • Deliver comprehensive physical assessments, exercise programmes, and functional rehabilitation
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to plan patient-centred care pathways
  • Support continuous improvement, clinical governance and service development
  • Advise on clinical risk, specialist interventions, and care planning at MDT meetings
  • Help promote health, wellbeing and independence among the Pensioner community

This is a varied, meaningful role where no two days are the same and where your skills will make a real impact on the lives of the veterans in our care.

  • Excellent communication, assessment and organisational skills
  • Commitment to high standards of professional conduct
  • Enthusiasm, compassion and the ability to motivate older adults.
  • As a must exceptional record keeping skills.

 What We Offer
