About Lloyds Bank Foundation
Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales is an independent charitable foundation, backed by Lloyds Banking Group and the people within it. We want everyone to be in a good place - personally, in a home that’s a good place to live, and in a community that’s a good place to belong.
We play our role by connecting and catalysing community-led change, providing the money, time, tools and connections that build organisations’ capacity and capability, to make people’s lives better and their communities stronger.
We back people and communities across England and Wales, to make that happen, because when you back brilliant people, brilliant things happen. Our communities are full of ambitious, energetic and determined people stepping up to make their neighbours’ lives better and their communities grow stronger. Day in, day out.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a new philanthropy pilot from the ground up, including the design of a minimum viable product to test the potential for digital giving and community action through the Lloyds Bank app. Working with Lloyds Banking Group and colleagues across the Foundation, you will explore how digital innovation could unlock greater giving, strengthen community action and help shape the future of philanthropy.
As Philanthropy & Investment Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the Foundation's Philanthropy Pilot, taking ownership of its development, delivery and evaluation. Working across the Foundation and with key partners, you will bring together people, ideas and resources to turn ambition into reality.
Alongside this, you will be responsible for project managing and coordinating activity across the Foundation, liaising on a day-to-day basis with Lloyds Banking Group, preparing materials and proposals, and commissioning support required.
About You
You are a proactive self-starter, who takes full ownership of driving forwards progress at pace, solving problems as they arise, and actively seeking out and implementing new opportunities. With a creative and innovative approach, you are able to bring people together around a shared vision and build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Your excellent leadership and influencing skills enable you to gain consensus, maintain momentum and deliver results across complex partnerships.
You are an excellent communicator, equally comfortable engaging senior leaders, trustees, corporate partners and colleagues.
You will bring experience in philanthropy, fundraising, partnership development or a related field, alongside strong project management skills and a passion for creating positive social impact.
