The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our small Pharmacy team at Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital. Working closely with our Pharmacy Manager, as a Pharmacy Technician you will have defined responsibilities including but not limited to,
Providing in house pharmacy services
Assist with dispensing
Carry out procurement, distribution, stock taking and the replenishment of pharmacy items to the ward and departments.
Attending hospital and department meetings
The Person
To succeed as a Pharmacy Technician you will;
Will have NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy service or equivalent
You must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Experience of working in a hospital of at least one year is preferred or at least two years community experience.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong IT skills.
Excellent people and customer service skills are essential, as you will be working closely both with patients and the hospital team.
Be highly organised and an analytical individual, you will have excellent attention to detail
Have the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
