The Vacancy
Are you someone who loves laughter, creativity, and making a real difference? We’re recruiting on behalf of Jen, a friendly and outgoing young lady in the Barrhead area who is excited to welcome a new team member into her world! Working alongside Jen, you’ll become part of a supportive, enthusiastic team dedicated to creating joyful, meaningful days.
About Jen
Jen is full of personality and loves meeting new people. She thrives on social connection and fun activities, and she’s looking for someone who can share in the things she enjoys most, including:
- 🎲 Playing board games of all kinds (the more competitive, the better!)
- 🎨 Arts and crafts – getting creative and making something special
- 🎮 Gaming on her Nintendo Switch
- 🌳 Spending time outdoors and playing in the park
- 🧑🤝🧑 Attending her ICM2 club and building friendships
She’s someone who truly enjoys life, and she’s looking for a supportive, upbeat person to help her do even more of what she loves.
The Role
As part of Jen’s team, you’ll:
- Support her to take part in social and leisure activities
- Encourage her independence while ensuring she feels safe and happy
- Join in with games, outings, and creative sessions
- Build a genuine friendship and positive relationship
- Work closely with Jen and the wider support team
This isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity to be a positive part of someone’s life every day.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be a superhero (though it helps if you like games!), but you should be:
- Friendly, patient, and kind-hearted
- Energetic and up for a variety of activities
- A great team player with good communication skills
- Reliable and flexible
- Passionate about supporting others to live fulfilling lives
Experience in care or support work is welcome but not essential — your attitude and willingness to connect are what matter most.
Why You’ll Love This Role
- Every day is different and full of fun
- You’ll build a meaningful, rewarding connection
- A chance to be creative and playful in your work
- Supportive colleagues, including Jen and the wider team
- Real job satisfaction knowing you’ve made someone smile
