Ciaran is a witty, warm, and loving young man who enjoys getting involved in life at his own pace.

He enjoys

He enjoys swimming and trips to the beach, gardening and planting seedlings, sports such as boccia and go-karting, watching Disney films, and activities like trampolining.

The Role: Personal Development Worker

As part of Ciaran’s team, you will walk alongside him as he builds independence and transitions to his own home, support him in activities he enjoys, and encourage new experiences. You will provide calm, consistent, and reassuring support using a low arousal approach, helping to create a safe, positive, and empowering environment.

You will be part of a close-knit, self managing, supportive team focused on delivering person-centred care.

If you are caring, patient, and compassionate, calm and confident when facing challenges, and able to build trust and meaningful relationships this could be the role for you.

We are building a supportive, compassionate team around Ciaran, helping him take an exciting next step-transitioning into his own home and living his Good Life. This is a unique opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone’s everyday experiences while being part of something purposeful and person-centred.

Pay and Hours

We are recruiting for multiple positions, both full-time and part-time, with flexibility around contracted hours.

Daytime/ Wakened support is paid at £16.93 per hour.Sleepovers (11pm–7am) are paid at £13.45 per hour and available when Ciaran has moved to his own home.
The role includes 2 hours per week of protected time for reflection, development, and team communication.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

Experience working with people with autism and complex support needs is required
