Personal Budget Case Worker (Maternity Cover) Salary Band D: £29,461 - £34,213

37 hrs per week – Fixed-Term contract (12 months) with potential to extend

We are seeking a motivated and person-centred colleague to join our Supporting Independence Service as a Personal Budget Case Worker on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

This rewarding role involves supporting disabled young people and their families to make the most of Direct Payments and Personal Budgets, enabling them to access the opportunities, resources and support they need to live independent and self-determined lives. The role also includes providing practical guidance around recruitment, employment responsibilities, personal budget management and support planning.

We are looking for someone who:

Has excellent communication and organisational skills.

Is passionate about empowering young people and families.

Can build positive relationships and work effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Has experience in disability support, personal budgets, employment support, human resources, or a related field.

The post is offered on a fixed-term basis for 12 months to cover maternity leave. Whilst there is no guarantee of ongoing employment, there may be potential for the role to continue beyond the initial contract period, subject to service needs and organisational circumstances.
