About Barry
Barry is a friendly, outgoing man who enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to his weekly clubs, heading out on Friday adventures and focusing on his health and wellbeing.
He is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant who can support him to stay independent, active and involved in his community.
If you enjoy getting out, getting involved and keeping someone’s week buzzing- this role has your name on it!
About the Role
As Barry’s Personal Assistant, you’ll support him with day-to-day living, help him stay active and involved in his community and bring your flexibility to a role that changes with his week. From cooking, to clubs, and errands to new activity ideas- this is a hands-on, people focused role where your support makes a genuine difference.
We offer a 10 hour per week role with flexible working hours that can be arranged together to suit both you and Barry. Whether you prefer to work your hours across a few shorter shifts or slightly longer visits, we are happy to chat about what works best.
The rate of pay is £13.60 per hour, and the role is based in the West End of Glasgow (G13). We are ideally looking for someone local to the area.
Support Required Includes:
· Meal preparation and cooking support
· Light housekeeping and keeping things running smoothly at home
· Shopping and errands
· Travel assistance for appointments, clubs and outings
· Supporting Barry to stay active and socially connected
· Encouraging good routines, health and wellbeing
· Bringing ideas for new activities and opportunities
