Personal Assistant

 

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

 

I am a young lady girl, with ASD and global delay, living in the LLanishen area of Cardiff. I really enjoy walking in parks, especially the Gruffalo trail park; playing on trampoline, crafting and swimming. playing the piano and attending a drama club. I am looking to recruit two Personal Care Assistants on a 2:1 basis, to support me with my weekly activities.

PURPOSE OF JOB

Supporting me to access activities within the community.

HOURS OF WORK

 

4 hours a week in term time and 6 hours a week in school holidays.

 

RATE OF PAY

 

£15.80 per hour

 

TASKS INVOLVED

  • Keeping me safe by supporting me to access activities in the local community.
  • To assist me in the pool whilst accessing a swimming pool.

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted.  A probation period will be necessary in the first instance.  Wages will be paid 4 weekly.  You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you. Support cannot be carried out in the personal assistant’s own home.
