JOB DESCRIPTION
Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I’m a fun-loving 4-year-old boy living in the Barry area with my mum and dad, and I’m looking for someone special to spend time with me!
I’m a happy, cheeky little character who loves to play, sing, laugh, and explore the world in my own unique way. I’m preverbal, but I’m great at showing you what I want and need, and I really enjoy connecting with people—especially calm, patient adults (I often respond particularly well to females).
I thrive on routine and familiarity, and I feel happiest when my day has a clear structure. I experience the world a little differently as I have autism and suspected PICA, and I can be sensitive to things like clothing and certain sensory experiences.
I’m full of personality and determination—I do like things my way! Sometimes, when I feel overwhelmed or frustrated, I can have meltdowns or try to regulate myself in ways that mean I need gentle, understanding support.
Because I don’t yet understand danger, I’ll need someone who can stay close and keep me safe while we have fun together.
Am looking for someone to building strong, trusting relationships with me and my family. This role would suit someone who is patient, resilient, and confident in supporting a young child with additional needs. It can be demanding, but it is also incredibly rewarding.
