JOB DESCRIPTION 

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 9-year-old boy living in the Gilfach Goch area, I am happy, loving and love being outdoors, I live with my parents and older brother. I enjoy you tube and building blocks.

I have ADHD and ASD I am non-verbal and have no sense of danger, I tend to run if I am given the opportunity, I do not eat any food, but I have supplemented milk drinks. This position is 2:1 role and to be worked with another personal assistant.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

To take me out in the community.

 

 

HOURS OF WORK

 

6 hours a week term time and 12 hours school holidays.

RATES OF PAY

£16.50 per hour

TASKS CAN INCLUDE

  • Going to the local park.
  • Attending soft play.
  • I also like to go to the community center where there is a play scheme.
  • To make sure I am always safe as I have no sense of danger.

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

  • Someone who is outgoing and friendly
  • Experience with Autism
  • Someone who is vigilant and aware of my surroundings.

ABOUT THE JOB

This will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period of six months will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid for four weeks in return for a pay slip provided by the Centre for Independent Living. You will receive appropriate holidays and holiday pay. This post is subject to an enhanced police check (DBS) and training may be required if identified by the employer.
