Perinatal Integrative Counsellor

The service will provide emotional health and wellbeing, therapeutic support for families who have experienced birth trauma, time on the neo natal intensive care unit (NICU) and/ or any emotional wellbeing difficulties during the perinatal period. The project will take a whole family approach by also offering support to the extended family members e.g. Grandparents, and supporting parents struggling with the emotional impact of caring for children at home and their baby in NICU. The programme will provide 1:1 BACP accredited therapy across the Blackburn with Darwen Family HUB network.

Salary: SP26 £27,327.45, per annum pro rata.

Hours: 22 hours per week

Duration: 12 month, subject to further funding

Location: Burnley/ Blackburn
