Call Out: Performer/Facilitators – Familia 

We are looking for three performer/facilitators to join an upcoming project with Familia taking place during the first three weeks of the school summer holidays across Wales. Performer/Facilitators will be working on Clown School, Familia's interactive clowning sessions. The Sessions will run in schools as part of the Welsh Local Government Association's Food and Fun Scheme.

Required Experience:

Performer/Facilitators should have experience working with children aged 5–12, be confident leading and engaging children and happy to be playful and a bit silly, helping to create a fun and engaging environment.

You will be working in teams of 2 or 3 so we are looking for really great team players. .

Bonus Experience :

Some of our sessions are delivered in Welsh and some bilingually. We would be particularly interested in hearing from applicants who are either bilingual in Welsh and English or confident Welsh learners.

It would be highly beneficial if facilitators are able to drive and have access to a vehicle to support travel to workshop locations.

Interviews and Auditions:

Shortlisted performer/facilitators will be invited to attend an online interview - we will provide interview questions in advance. Successful candidates will then be required to take part in a workshop audition. Successful applicants will receive full training in May/June.

Interviews: w/c 13th April

Workshop Audition: w/c 20th April

Training: May/June 2026 TBC

Delivery: 20th July - 7th August 2026

Fee: ITC minimum or above plus travel expenses.
