People & Culture Business Partner

Our People & Culture team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join us at a pivotal time, supporting the delivery of our People Plan and driving positive cultural change across One Fylde.

What This Role Is All About

As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will provide high‑level, proactive people support across One Fylde, acting as a trusted partner to Registered Managers, Team Leaders and senior stakeholders. You will embed People & Culture practices into our operational teams, strengthening leadership capability and supporting our organisation to achieve its strategic priorities.

You will be the lead point of contact for all people‑related matters, taking ownership of complex employee relations issues, coaching managers to resolve challenges confidently, and ensuring risks are managed effectively and consistently.

Using insight from workforce data and engagement feedback, you will help shape workforce plans, improve performance, increase retention and support a strong culture of engagement, accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive People & Culture business partnering support across multiple sites
  • Act as the subject matter expert for employee relations, including grievance, disciplinary, absence and performance management
  • Coach and support managers to build confidence and capability in people management
  • Embed a strong performance management culture using appropriate tools and frameworks
  • Lead and support organisational change programmes and people‑focused projects
  • Use HR data, KPIs and insights to drive informed decision‑making and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to organisational planning with a clear workforce focus
  • Represent the People Team at Heads of Department meetings, events and external forums as appropriate

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced, resilient and people‑centred HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, operational environment and enjoys building strong relationships at all levels.

You will be a strong fit if you:

  • Have experience in a generalist HR or business partnering role, ideally across multiple sites
  • Hold CIPD Level 5(Level 7 desirable)
  • Have strong working knowledge of employment law and employee relations
  • Use a coaching approach to develop managers and influence change
  • Are analytically minded and confident using people data to generate insight
  • Are comfortable managing complexity, ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Can travel across One Fylde as required

Experience in the health, social care or charity sector is desirable but not essential.
