Details

We're looking for a proactive and organised People & Communications Officer to join our Corporate Support Team. This is a varied role at the heart of the organisation, supporting our people, communications and day-to-day operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.

You'll coordinate recruitment and onboarding, maintain accurate HR records, prepare payroll information, calculate holiday accruals and support the employee lifecycle from recruitment through to leaving. Alongside this, you'll create engaging content for LinkedIn, our website and internal communications using Canva, while helping to improve systems and processes that support the wider organisation.

This role would suit someone looking to develop a career in HR, People Operations or Corporate Services, while gaining hands-on experience across HR, recruitment, payroll, communications and organisational support within a national charity.

As a small national charity, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, take ownership of your work and develop your skills across multiple areas of HR, communications and corporate support. You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, giving you exposure to a wide range of projects and the opportunity to help shape how we work and grow.

Recoop's mission is to empower older individuals engaged in the justice system through advocacy, peer support services and targeted interventions that enhance and enrich their wellbeing. We make time more purposeful by promoting independence, belonging and resilience at every stage of their journey.

As a national charity, we are committed to delivering high-quality services, influencing positive change and ensuring the voices of the people we support help shape the work we do. Every member of our team plays an important role in helping us achieve this mission.
