We are looking for an experienced People Partner to join Mirus at an exciting time as we begin to deliver our new People Strategy.

This is a busy, high‑impact role where you will take full People oversight and responsibility for a defined region within the organisation. You will work closely with senior leaders and line managers, providing trusted, practical People advice while helping to shape how we support, develop and retain our workforce.

You will be comfortable operating at pace, balancing day‑to‑day operational People matters with longer‑term strategic thinking. Using data, insight and professional judgement, you will help inform regional priorities and contribute to organisation‑wide People strategy and improvement.

As the People Business Partner, you will

  • Partner with line management, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and staff.
  • Supporting and coaching managers in dealing with complex casework, performance, attendance, and employee relations issues.
  • Produce timely reporting and analyse trends and metrics with the people department.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to achieve high levels of trust, respect, and professionalism.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide policy guidance as well as ensuring policies, processes and procedures are up to date and in line with statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals.
  • Delivering key initiatives across the spectrum, including workforce planning, restructuring, talent management, pay and reward, projects or activity that supports the delivery the People strategy and team objectives.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Proven work experience as a Business Partner
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Experience of working with a range of HRIS Systems
  • Experience of supporting the implementation of change initiatives, ideally within an evolving people strategy.
  • CIPD qualified to level 5 or above or holding an equivalent qualification or experience.
