Peer Support Group: Bideford

Description

Do you look after an adult who couldn’t manage without your help? You may be an unpaid carer!

A carer is a person who provides unpaid care and support to a family member, friend or neighbour who is disabled, has an illness or long-term condition, or who needs extra help as they grow older.

If you think this could be you, why not come along to our connection event for the chance to meet and make friends with other carers, where you can provide each other with mutual support and understanding of the challenges of caring.

A member of the Devon Carers Peer Support team will be on hand to keep the session informal and relaxed and will be able to support you in getting to know some of the other carers in your area.
