Imagine a role where you can make a real difference in someone’s life by doing everyday things you may take for granted.

As a Support Worker at Affinity Trust, you will play an important part in helping people take part in the activities and experiences they value, supporting them to live with confidence and independence. This could be something as simple as going to the shops for a pint of milk, or something bigger like helping someone go to the gym for the first time, start a new hobby, or take a trip abroad.

We provide full training so you can offer the best possible support to people living with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs. What matters most is your kindness, positivity, and desire to make a difference in someone’s day.

Making a difference for the people we support includes:

  • Helping people enjoy their daily routines and achieve their goals.

  • Building trust, connection, and independence.

  • Developing yourself as part of a compassionate, mindful, and dedicated team.

You will need to work shifts across the week, including early starts from 7am and late finishes until 10pm, as well as some weekends. You should also be prepared to undertake sleep-in shifts as part of this role.
