Part-time Senior Catering Assistant

Do you enjoy cooking? Are you caring and supportive? Have a sense of fun? Looking for a part time job with a difference?

We have a part-time, or potential for two part-time roles, here at Emmaus Cambridge (7.5 hours per day), including at least one weekend day.

You will be cooking in our busy coffee shop or in the community kitchen alongside our companions supporting and nurturing them.

At Emmaus Cambridge we offer people who have experienced homelessness a place to call home for as long as they need it and meaningful work in our social enterprise. Living in a stable environment with the opportunity to gain new skills helps our companions to rebuild self-esteem and confidence so they can get back on their feet.

Whilst a car isn’t required for the daily aspects of the role, Joan’s coffee shop is based just off the A10 so it is not currently on bus or train routes.

Emmaus Cambridge offers free parking, an employee assistance programme, increasing holiday allowances with length of service and a great staff team, as well as guaranteeing a warm reception from companions, volunteers and our customers.
