Join our Outstanding Bright Sparks & Early Years Nursery Team – Where Every Day Makes a Difference!
Our nursery is an outstanding early years setting with an excellent reputation locally. Due to overwhelming demand for places, we’re delighted to be expanding our team and inviting passionate, caring individuals to join us.
We have two Part Time Nursery Assistant vacancies available. The vacancies are 20 hours per week, Monday – Thursday (inclusive), 8.45am – 1.45pm & 11.30am – 4.30pm on a rota basis.
We’re looking for people who …
- Are happy to sing (even if it’s out of tune!) and dance without embarrassment
- Don’t mind going home with mysterious paint, glitter or playdough evidence
- Have a warm, genuine smile that makes every child feel safe and special
- Can laugh freely, even at jokes that don’t quite make sense
- Are excellent at counting several fast‑moving tiny humans
- Are completely unfazed by conversations about bodily functions
- Can convincingly “drink” endless cups of pretend tea and admire playdough cuisine
- Give heartfelt, reassuring hugs whenever they’re needed
- Love laughter, fun and genuinely enjoy being around children
- Enjoy the outdoors in all seasons – rain, shine and muddy wellies included
- Will confidently help a child captain a pirate ship, run a shop, or save the day
- Can read stories upside‑down, despite plenty of interruptions
- Accept nose‑wiping as a vital and valued skill
- Feel comfortable announcing you desperately need the toilet (we get it!)
- Take pride in seeing a 9‑month‑old grow into a confident Pre‑Schooler ready for “big school”
- Will happily clean and brush up after mealtimes – often resembling the aftermath of the famous food fight scene in Hook
If this sounds like you, you may already be one of us!
