Part-time Leader of Pastoral Care
Cosham Baptist Church is a well-established Baptist Church with a Sunday morning congregation of around 180 people of all ages and many cultures.
We are looking for a committed Christian to lead the Pastoral support to our congregation and to oversee the ministry to our older members.
Specific responsibilities will be to oversee the training, development and support of a pastoral care team and to plan and facilitate opportunities for discipleship and spiritual growth among our older members.
The position will be part-time (20-30 hours per week) and will be a fixed term contract of up to 12 months with possible extension and reviews after 3, 6 and 9 months.
Hours will be flexible but core hours will be agreed.
The person will be accountable to the Leadership Team.
This post is subject to an Occupational Requirement that the post holder is a committed Christian under Part 1 of Schedule 10 of the Equality Act <a 2010.
