PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP LEADER

Our friendly, inclusive church is recruiting for a part time Parent and Toddler
Group Leader on a term time basis for one year. You’ll work to ensure the continued success of our thriving Parent and Toddler Group which serves the Lindley community.

You’ll be required to run the weekly Parent and Toddler Group alongside two church volunteers on Monday mornings during term time, ensuring that parents and toddlers engaging with the weekly session have a positive, safe and enjoyable experience.

If you’re excited by this opportunity and you’d like to come and join us, you’ll need to:

• have relevant experience of interacting or working with parents and toddlers on either a voluntary or paid basis;

• be flexible and possess strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;

• be prepared to undertake training and work within Methodist processes.

The appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure with Barred List Check.

NEXT STEPS & MAIN TERMS

Hours of work:	3 hours per week worked between 8:45 am and 11:45 amon Mondays during term time (39 weeks of the year).
Contract:	1 Year Fixed Term Contract with the potential to extend,subject to review and funding.
Rate of pay:	£14.00 per hour with the option to enrol in the Church'sworkplace pension scheme.
Location:	Based at Lindley Methodist Church, 45 East Street, Lindley,Huddersfield, HD3 3ND.
