Palliative Support Worker – Hospice at Home

Rossendale Hospice have an exciting opportunity for a Palliative Support Worker to join our Hospice at Home team. In this role, you will work as a carer within patients' homes, complementing the care provided by the community nursing service and social services. You will deliver basic nursing care to support comfort and wellbeing, responding to patients' and families' individual needs.
Position: Palliative Support Worker – Hospice at Home
Reports to: Clinical Services Team Leader
Salary: £19,999.98
Hours: 31.5 per week
Shift: 4 on 4 off - 9-1 and 17.00 - 2200
Location: Rossendale Hospice/Community
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a care setting and evidence of basic care training or willingness to undertake training.
This role requires a full, current UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and care insurance including business cover.
