Are you motivated by creating real work opportunities, championing inclusion, and leading a high‑performing social enterprise? Brandon Trust is looking for a thoughtful, organised, and proactive Project Coordinator to lead the day‑to‑day running of our Packaging enterprise — a workplace where people with learning disabilities and autistic people build skills, confidence, and meaningful employment pathways.
About the Role
As Project Coordinator, you’ll guide the operational and commercial running of Brandon Packaging. You’ll organise the production and distribution of clinical and first aid kits, nurture strong partnerships with NHS services, and make sure the workplace is safe, welcoming, and purposeful for everyone who works and trains with us.
You’ll play a key role in supporting people with learning disabilities and autistic people to gain skills and independence through real work — coaching individuals in tasks like packing, stock control, and dispatch, while creating an environment where people feel valued, capable, and included.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of our packaging enterprise, ensuring safe, efficient production
- Support people with learning disabilities and autistic people to develop work-based skills and confidence through coaching and person‑centred practice
- Maintain high standards in quality, hygiene, documentation, and stock control
- Build strong relationships with NHS Blood & Transplant teams, hospitals, procurement leads, and partner organisations
- Respond to customer queries and resolve concerns professionally and promptly
- Manage project finances, budgets, and income/expenditure reporting
- Contribute to service development, including kit design improvements and new commercial opportunities
- Create accessible training materials and ensure all processes support learning and independence
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external partners
- Promote achievements and opportunities through communication and marketing
- Identify and address health and safety concerns, promoting a safe and supportive workplace
What We’re Looking For
- Experience leading operations, production, or commercial processes
- A warm, respectful communication style with the ability to coach and involve others
- Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Confidence managing relationships with partners, suppliers, and customers
- Ability to work calmly and independently while also contributing to a collaborative team
- A commitment to inclusive practice and supporting people with learning disabilities and autistic people to achieve their goals
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience working alongside people with learning disabilities and autistic people
- Knowledge of stock management, logistics, or production environments
- Understanding of health and safety, hygiene standards, or NHS processes
- Experience with financial reporting or budget monitoring
Why Join Brandon Trust?
- Be part of a values‑led organisation that puts people first
- Make a genuine impact through meaningful work and inclusive employment
- Access ongoing training, learning, and professional development
- Work in a supportive, friendly environment where your ideas and leadership matter
