Job Vacancy: Optometrist – Independent practice (part-time, permanent) 
Location: Lincoln 
Salary: Competitive, pro rata, dependent on experience 

We’re looking for an outstanding optometrist to join our friendly, patient-focused independent practice. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional clinical care and want the time and tools to do your best work, we’d love to hear from you. 

As an independent practice, we offer 30 minute testing times, allowing you to provide thorough and personalised eye examinations. You will have access to the latest equipment and the support of our highly experienced and qualified dispensing team.

This is a part-time, permanent position working up to 2.5 days per week, within an environment where patient care and clinical excellence are our highest priorities. 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care 
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative, professional environment 
  • A commitment to maintaining and building our reputation for clinical excellence 
  • Fully registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) 
  • BSc (Hons) MCOptom qualification 
  • COTATS accreditation desirable but not essential 
  • Additional Professional Certificates, Higher Certificates or IP qualification desirable but not essential 

Working hours 

We offer a balanced and predictable working pattern: 

  • Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00 – 17:30 
  • Wednesday: 11:00 – 19:00 
  • Saturday: 9:00 – 13:00 

Final working days and hours can be agreed based on availability.
